Ok I am not new to electronics, or at least not new to soldering, building circuit boards and simple circuitry, Ohms Law and the like. I can read schematics very well. But i havent played with PIC's yet and I want to, But without taking any extensive classes. I love to experiment and play, just havent had enough time in the last 8 yrs to mess with it anymore. But now I do, is there any good reads out there books? sites? ect ect.... Please some one help and point me in the right direction, you will not be dissapointed in giving me your time. Again thank you in advance.

I started about 4 weeks ago with using this link as a guide. http://www.amqrp.org/elmer160/lessons/ . Purchased a few Pics from ebay and we have a programmer where I work.
To date I've done the hello world thing "read switch , turned on led" .
I've just completed a program that reads the pulse width of my receiver and drives 8 leds displaying a binary output of the radio stick position.
My next project is to drive a servo... and then merge both projects including a LCD display
OK I admit it.... I'm hooked :D
