This kit looks great! (I'll take three, just kidding)
So are these available in the USA yet?
What foam is the fuse made of?
It doesn't show the clear canopy in the pictures on the website (it looks as though the canopy is foam also) I really hope the canopy is lexan/clear, they seem to look alot better than foam imo. Also the c/f motor mount in the pictures looks sweet, does the kit come with this mount? and $?

80 Euro equals roughly 103.63 USD, considering the current rate of 1 EUR = 1.29531 USD. Not an astronomical price, but more than I had hoped.
I am curious as to how hot the motor gets in flight. I didn't notice any cooling slots or any such apparatus.
A very well-put-together airplane, from the looks of it.

Now this is awesome, I just purchased $5M worth of robotics from a company in Bremen Germany and will be doing some traveling over in the upcoming year.
Where in Bremen would I be able to pick one of these up at????
Thanx for your help in this matter...........

Well my contacts in Bremen Germany are arranging to send me one this week.
I only pay shiping within Germany , as for across the pond I get away without shipping charges as my contacts send parts from their German factory to their US parts distribution, I''ll do a pix editorial when I get it.

How about doing a build thread on it? Seems like there's a lot of interest.

What is the build quality of this product?

I have finished assembling my Indian Spirit and have flown it now for approx 1 hour.
The build quality is as good as I've ever seen, nothing to write home about.
The flying is what I find differant. It rolls well even great for a flat plate wing. and with all the controls pushing 60 degrees of throw it is very smooth and linear without having any expo. Hovering is easily done.
Mine weighs in @ 6 oz ready to fly with a TP 3S 830 MAH pack. I use a littlescreamer motor so with 15 oz thrust I am well pleased with performance.

Hennis,
I found the pictures to be all thats needed, The only thing is the canopy cutout lines.
There an upper and lower set, I cutout to the upper set and the decal ended up short of canopy and also close quarters for working within,
I can post any pix here if you need them, A manual realy is not neccesary........
ASK away, PM me if I dont answer right away, got a few forums going right now.....

Where is the CG suppose to be?
c/f
Aug 23, 2005, 03:32 PM
The c/g I believe to be a cg circle on the canopy cutout template.
My cg is half the width of wing root near fuse, no snap tendencise what so ever,
30% back from leading edge would be a safe starting place.
Mine is so far back cause I use a littlescreamer motor weighng only 20 grams and 15 ounces of thrust using an 8X4DD GWS prop, on a 6 ounce AUW model its ballistic.

Just hijacking this thread slightly; since I couldn't get either a Pocket Rocket or an Indian Spirit here, I figured I'd build one of Johann's great looking free plans.

If you like building with Depron and you haven't already, check out his plans.
