is 8c high discharge?
to be frank.
compare with those 12C 15C continuous discharge battery.
8C is not too high.
but it's high enough.
and just think about the price you will get for those.
you will agree me, mine is the best you can get now.

Customer Review 1: From Greg
1. your brief personal information
sex: M
age range: 50-55
experience on electrical R/C model: 10 years
how often you work on R/C models?: all the time
2. when did you purchase from us?
March 2005
3. what battery and how many did you buy?
One 2200 mah 14.8V LIPO
4. what did you buy the battery for(Brand and model)?
Astroflight 15 geared motor
5. how long did it take you to fully charge the battery?
One hour on Apache smart charger
6. how long the battery can last?
Don’t know for sure yet. Over 6 minutes at full throttle for sure
7. how do you think about the battery overall?
Like it.
8. will you consider to buy again?
Plan to
9. compare to other brands, what do you think about it (Pros and Cons)?
Can only compare to NiCads and I think the battery weight and power density is great. Just wish LIPOs didn’t have the potential fire issue.
10. any suggestions and comments to us?
I think you guys should look for a low voltage cutoff device to offer to prevent over discharging of LIPO cells.
11. what overall rating would you like to rate the battery? (1-10)
10, my battery had 12 gage wire.

Customer Review 2: From Jim
1. Your brief personal information
Sex: Male
Age range: 54
How often you work on R/C models?:
As often as I can/ Daily
2. When did you purchase from us?
November, 2004
3. What battery and how many did you buy?
3 cell/ 3600 mAh Li-Poly, total of 4 packs, using 2 packs series in Corsair
4. What did you buy the battery for(Brand and model)?
Hanger 9 Corsair ARF with AXI 4130/16 brushless motor
5. How long did it take you to fully charge the battery?
About 1 hour using AstroFlight Lithium charger
6. How long the battery can last?
so far, 12 minute flights look to be no problem. In fact, I was able to do another take off and go around after 10 minutes. The times I list are power on times, as determined by a programmed timer in my transmitter.
7. How do you think about the battery overall?
Very light weight and good overall performance.
8. Will you consider to buy again?
Yes, but I would favor the newer Hi Discharge 4400 packs which have recently become available. Down side is they of course weigh more (additional 3.5 oz per pack).
9. Compare to other brands, what do you think about it (Pros and Cons)?
Compared to GWS packs, I think these packs are far better. Compared to Kokum tho, I might give Kokum the edge in achieving stated performance. Compared to all tho, the price is hard to beat: these seem to be the best value.
10. Any suggestions and comments to us?
All in all tho, the dual 3 cell 3600 mAh packs are providing very satisfactory flights with my Hanger 9 Corsair, which incidently weighs LESS than 8 lbs WITH the batteries.

Orderd some of the batteries and here is a test on the 900 mAh
They are advertised as 8C and held up well at that, I even pushed them to 10C and they did not do bad.
Not a bad battery for $24.00, We were paying over $40.00 to $45.00 for a battery like this a year ago
So far this is the only low cost battery that I have found that will perform as advertised, They are not the high dollar 10-12 C batteries but at the price they are great

Offering connectors would be kinda nice. I really don't mind soldering but it's always a plus if I don't have to. And a for couple more bucks it would be worth it. Just an idea.
Also, you should post in the For Sale forum. There's several guys there making a killing on lipos and they're charging more than you
Good luck!!

Hello Ildo,
I have ordered two of your 1800 3S1P packs on Ebay. I sent you a question in that forum, however, it may be usefull to other members if you provided some information here also.
You state in the beginning of this thread that "balancer" can be added as an option for $1. By this I assume that you mean an added connector that taps into the individual cells for balancing purpouses.
What connector is utilized for the balancer (ie. Is it a standard connector, perhaps the same as PQ; or if not what connector is required to match up?)
Do you have packs in stock with and without the connector, or do you add the balancer yourself?
Also, what is your normal time between recieving an order and shipping it; and is it the same with and without the balancer?
Thanks in advance, the discharge graphs posted so far look encouranging for a product in this price range!

the taps are assembled in factory.

regarding about the question of shipping.

but if the item is out of stock, it will normally take us 7-14 days to order and get them from our manufacturer in China. regardless with or without taps.
but start from next month all our batteries will come with a tap.
Also: we are the exclusive distributor of this brand in USA. so if anyone is interested about being our dealer. please contact us. :)
PS:thank E-zoner Milton for those graphs, he bought some packs and tested them, he is so impressed. :)

The standard search won't find XUS Hobby. I searched for LiPo and your sale came out as the first item! Here is the URL for your UK ebay shop. (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/XUS-HOBBY_W0QQssPageNameZviQ3asibQ3astoreviewQQtZkm) For value comparison see this UK supplier (http://www.rcmdirect.co.uk/lipolys.html) of what looks like the same cells...
Thanks!

Cool!
yes, looks like the same, maybe it's OEMed by the same manufacturer.
but our price beat them! ;)
because we imported directly from the manufacturer.
wanna give them a try? :)
thanks

For those who have used these packs...how do you like them compared to other packs, ie Kokam, TP, Apogee, Tanic, Polyquest, etc.
Thanks,
Gord.
