I'm shopping for retracts for my JHH/AMD Bae Hawk. JHH suggests the SpringAir 102 or 507JH.

I've been searching the net for info, prices, availability, etc of these items and I'm not happy with the results.

Spring Air's website is totally worthless. On the homepage it says "Under Construction" and has a "Last Updated" date of 09/10/01. ... they dont even list the 507JH gear set.

I've found other sites that sell Spring Air retracts but have virtually no information on the systems ... and none of them list the 507JH.

I guess I should have bought some from Larry today when I picked up the Hawk but I didn't think of it and now he's off to Toledo.

Anyone know of a good site with info on the systems, prices and online shopping?

Thanks,

I've had trouble before finding out info about their products also....you might wanna try some of the builders and dealers from europe etc...their popular over there and have been for a while.....esp smaller stuff there being so much electric over there...though i dont think yours is...they may have info....Bruce

The 507JH gear are made for the JHH airplanes specifically I believe...something like that. The Hawk should recieve basically any standard sized retract unit...rhom-air, spring airs and whatnot...I don't know if this helps you at all, but....if you know what direction the plunger goes, you should be able to find something that might work.
