I have a bunch of small CL engines. Most are .15, but I have some McCoy redhead .19's and .35's. I started in CL with a Fox .35 and it also was my intro to the 2 stroke - 4 stroke break that these engines have on when the model tackles a manuever.
Unfortunately all my present C/L engines are some what steady and not apt to do this bit of magic. I presently have a Fox . R/C 36 that WILL break at partial throttle when doing loops in a Falcon 56. This is all kinda strange as I also have the old "tin soldier" Fox C/L .15 with the loop scavenging and its the steadiest engine in flight that I have. Any thoughts on why some egines do this and others don't? I realise this is a bit of C/L arcana, but its always bugged me..
