Curious if there was a safe way to fast charge a 6.0v 1100 nimh rx pack?
The charger I have is of course an over-nighter 10+ hours for this type pack
at 120ma at 6.0v.
What would be the highest rating that would still be safe on the pack to
charge at?

Nevermind, I found the info I was needing online.
Basically...1amp.(1000ma) with heat observation

Right, although I charge at 1/2 amp if time permits. Keeps overall
heat down.
