Can someone post how this piece of metal is to be bent for a towhook? In the meantime, I'll be bending a paper clip trying to figure it out myself.

I used an adjustable towhook in the Thermic I'm building. Here's the link to that part of my Thermic build thread: link (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3373412&postcount=204)

Art Hobby have a great tow hook (part no. AH0050), that I use on my thermic which is machined and is really neat. At US$4.50 it's not bad at all ;)

I made a towhook for my Thermic out of threaded rod end and various plastic washers. It seems to work well.
I also glassed up the towhook area in the fuse; I figured another 1/4 oz or so of weight was relatively cheap insurance.

we used a spring steel wheel axle with a threaded end and lock nut on the inside, just had to heat it up for the bend.....cheaper than the real part and is very strong!!!!

I made a towhook for my Thermic as well. I have also used the AH adjustable variety and they seem to work well.
