Just got my Reflex and it is marvellous but it can take ages to reset a crashed model particularly helis. Ive looked under the Simulation heading but the time seems to br fixed, is it the power or lack of it, of the graphics card or the PC ?

If the model file is large, and some of those you can download are, it can take a long time to refresh. One in particular is a Piccolo at almost 4 mb! Another thing that contributes to that is the scenery resolution. Rerender the scenery "Panorama resolution" to the lowest value (4080x2048).
And, as you guessed, it never hurts to have a rip-snorter graphics card although mine is 2 generations old it works O.K. It's a Geforce 2 GTS Pro with 64 mb. Also make sure you have DirectX 8.1b or better and your card's latest drivers.

Arthur,
All you need to do is to change the "delay time from crash to restart" in the menu...
Simulation
Modify simulation Parameters
General
There is a bug in XTR, if the model does not reach ground level after a crash, say it gets stuck in the trees, the program thinks it's still flying and does not do an automatic reset, manual reset is required.

Thanks for help lads. I had to smuggle the query on because the sim was a birthday present from wifey. When I commented in all innocence to her about the reload she took it as a personal afront and I got an earful about being ungrateful etc. :)
