I came across this recenly.Its a oline R/C car racing.The download is
free. They have this really cool USB connector that lets you use you own
radio to race. They charge 29.95 for the interface but the software is
free on the website. You can race without it also using your keyboard or
a joystick, but for real feel use the interface. You can race against
online competitors also.
Check this out it is the coolest online game i have seen.

complaints about the tracks being too narrow?

I am not so sure the problems is the tracks are too narrow, as I understand
that they are modelled from detailed measurements, sometimes actual dxf
surveys, I think they are very accurate but the problem being more a case of
it being a lot harder to control than real cars on a real track. I found it
hellishly difficult at first, even on the oval, but with practice comes
results. I urge you to give it a chance. It is certainly the best RC SIM
(cars) out there. I am told a new version is due with AI cars, more stable
code and a bunch of other tweaks including drifter cars which should be fun.

I suspect those who think the tracks are too narrow are the ones that need
it the most.
