just the revo out for a spin round the garden, was absolutely motoring fine,
stopped, selected reverse, horrible and painful grinding sound a no movement
in reverse, forward is still ok though

any ideas on what to do?

Sounds like the reverse primary gear in the transmission is munched.
If it's new model I'd call Traxxas UK and ask for wty replacement of
the part.

I was just saying that because the guy at my LHS is the same way. You
ask him a question like do you have 48 pitch 13tooth pinion gears? Yup.
And he just sits there looking at you.

Real customer service guru? Sounds like these dumbasses here - and I quote
"There's the wall over there" (pointing at a wall full of unsorted parts on
peg hangers) What's wrong with these people, don't they realize if they
don't help one bit, you will just buy it from Tower or any other online
retailer to avoid their knuckle dragging idiocy? F.M.D., service is a lost
artform isn't it.

if i was working in a hobby store I would choose who I waited on and YOU would
be the very last person or maybe I would just close the doors in your face
