Ok, this is not something new and is not so beaultiful, because it's not painted, but I loved to build and fly it.

In fact I just spent some hours from depron sheet to flight, making it one of the highest fun/time rate of my planes.

It was build in a boring afternoon with the things I have in my home, so It is made from 4mm depron sheet, without the balsa reinforcements from plan.

I keep it as a static model because was afraid to finish and flight it, because the weight is too high, my battery pack is heavier and the motor weakest than planned

The elevator is not full-flying surface, I made it like other models with tension hinges.

I used only 2 servos, one for elevator and other for aileron, no flaperon or rudder.

The battery pack is a 1400mAh 3S LiIon pack, weighting 120g.

I used an old 350C-CS motor with 9x5HD GWS propeller, with only 350g (12.5oz) of thrust.

The wing was made from 2 4mm depron sheet with bamboo reinforcements inside, giving it some airfoil, not a flat plate.

The total weight is 520g (18.5oz), much heavier then the jetset44's one.

The flight is very stable and can be quick at full throttle, but landings are very easy, I just fly it above the grass, lowering the throttle and raising the nose until it is slow enough to cut all throtle and let it touch the ground.

Stall is very easy too, it just brakes and keep stable, falling like a parachute.

Thanks very much jetset44, I loved it.

Here are some pics, one taken in home and other are frames captured from a video.

Thanks for everyone.

The best thing is that my friends are starting to make park-jets too.

Here is a Avro Arrow from "Atari".

We will try to make a "dog fight" next wednesday.

Whats more snolord1, if you're like me (not as crafty as Alex or Steve aka Jetset44) you can always order the laser cut depron kit, from the exact same plans, for 40 bucks from 3DFoamy.com. I must warn you they are about 4-6 weeks backordered but it makes scratch building easier if you dont have expereince with cutting from plans. Cant be laser cut parts either.

Its a great looking plane. I'm hoping to get mine together before summer

You don't need to be a great constructor to make this jet.

Jetset44 is a great designer, all pieces match perfectly.

I just printed the plans (ok, needed several paper sheets and some hard work with glue), cut the foam, sanded the nose and cowl, glued the parts as matchs, installed electronics and it was ready to fly...

Or like Tyson (from http://www.careliawin.com/tyson/ ) says, "A depron sheet is an ARF model" :P

Very nice, snolord1. Is it the original size?

J250 has static thrust much lower then my EPS350C-CS, maybe it will work with the 77% F/A-18 from the original thread.
