That 16 footer would cause some interest at the beach! Would Merriman be able to design a WTC large enough.

Damn, I could have done with a good-sized shark when I started off with my model, instead of having to carve it out of wood!!

The 60" great white shark would have been an ideal size, too, if it was straight out and not curving up at the tail. The 76" would be very awesome, however, if it could be converted right.

The 16-footer you could almost get in and drive yourself!!

Isn't there a bond film with something similar to that? A crocodile?

I believe you also make a 48" Shark as well. Might be a better size for the pool. I wonder how they would run in the water?

That was featured in Octopussy.

I seriously thought about one of these, and they're a fair price (which I can't recall right now!!) but I think the main problem is the fact that the fibreglass shark is supplied complete (with or without paint), so you'd need to hack it up extensively in order to get your bits and pieces into it.

This is not quite a 16 foot shark but it is interesting nonetheless http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ja_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.toysrus.co.jp%2fp%2fp%2ff16 %2f

If you want to see it in action look here http://www.rcsub.jp/00002.wmv

That looks pretty gnarly - although the tail action is a bit like an epileptic stickleback! :D
