SPRING CLEANING IS DONE !!

PLEASE NOTE: As of April 16, '05, all the articles in this thread have been sold .... Thank all of you whom have shown interest and / or purchased some of these great deals ... and thanks for using RC Groups ...

I will request that the administrator now close this thread ....

Russ

HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO GET SOME HIGH QUALITY HULLS AND OTHER GEAR FOR 1/2 PRICE or less!!

I have a few fiberglass hulls left for gasoline or BIG / TWIN nitro engines, and they are beginning to get "in the way" of the remodeling projects. Most are Aeromarine Laminates 48 in., 50 in. and 56 in. hulls. All are set up for McCulloch, Homelite, Echo, Kawasaki, Zenhoa or similar 22 cc to 35 cc gasoline engines, most have 6 in. stringer spacing, higher than normal stringers, and extra glasscloth laid up in the engine bay. These are BIG hulls, not for the faint of heart!! Most are never used Except where noted.

Check back from time to time, as I am adding more items ......

I have also listed a couple of new and 1 used engine, with vibration damped mounts, as well as some other exhaust systems and hardware that might interest you.

At the suggestion of Jim McPherson, our most knowledgable moderator, I am starting a new thread that will be linked to and older thread:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298792

and then that old thread will be closed. The Older thread is now closed.

I ship by FedX Ground, as they just seem to have the most reliable service, lowest prices, NO damage, and great tracking. Smaller, lighter, les expensive items will ship USPS to minimize the price. I always insure for full replacement value. I can take PayPal or Postal Money Orders.

Thanks for your interest,

Russ :)

The next 4 photos are of a Warehouse Hobbies 53 in. Hyrdo with a beam of 26 in. .... BIG !!!!! This one has 5 in. stringer spacing, plenty of room for a 23-26 cc. Zenoah or similar engine, and plenty of room for a tuned pipe under the turbine cover. Asking $150.00 for the hull. I will also throw in a teflon lined shaft log for 1/4 in. flex shaft at no extra charge. Shipping is extra. The Special, beautifully machined and anodized strut / brackets / rudder set up for 1/4 in. flex drive is $50.00 extra.

This hull and drive are sold- and shipped to Oviedo Florida, USA. Updated March 30, '05.

This is 1 of two 50 in. Aeromarine Apaches - 14 in. beam, 8 in. deep. 1 - yellow, 1 white. They are flawless ! They sport the customary Aeromarine glass-like gelcoat finish on the outside, and beautiful chopped glass and glasscloth layup on the inside. Nice rugged marine ply 6 in. spaced stringers, 2 in. high, already resin coated, to accomodate any 20 to 35 cc. Zenoah, Kawasaki, Echo, Homelite, gas engine. $150.00 ea.plus shipping.
These hulls are $299.00 from Aeromarine ... Here's the link:

( Although, the 2005 catalog that I got at the WRAM show in White Plains, NY Feb 27, 2005 shows them at $329.00 ?!? )

The two 50 in. Apaches are sold and on their way to Virginia and Florida, USA.

This is another 50 in. Aeromarine Apache, same spec's as the ones above. The transom has some layout tape stuck to it, and it is "Really Stuck"! I got some of it off with acetone, but my patience ran out! There are also some 1/16 in. pilot holes drilled through the transom which were for drive hardware that is no longer available ( I put toothpicks in the holes for the photo ), so those tiny holes will more than likely have to be filled for your application. There are also 3 or 4 tiny "dings" and a few nearly invisible hairline gelcoat cracks in the hull ( oictured ) which I have to think was a UPS issue. This is not a serious situation, it's just that Aeromarine Laminates puts out close to perfect hulls, and this one is not perfect!

This one will be $125.00, including a teflon lined shaft log, plus shipping.
Remember, these hulls are 299.00 from Aeromarine .... Here's the link:

This is a boat that was built by Aeromarine Laminates for a "newbie dude" that had no prior experience with anything RC. So, on the maiden, he smacked a wharf and did some damage to the hull.

It is a 56 in. Giant Apache, and although it has been patched up, it needs the attention of someone who is capable of fibreglass repair and body work (that's NOT me ! ) I have tried to photograph this hull so as to make the damaged areas look as bad as possible. The hull will include a considerable amount of brand new hardware, and the drive system can be purchased directly from Aeromarine Laminates ( OR Octura ) and will bolt right on ! Asking $150.00 for the hull and hardware. If you have any thoughts of offering $75.00 for the hull without the hardware, it doesn't work that way. I am selling all this NEW stuff for 1/2 of it's retail value, so if you want the hardware package alone, it's $37.50. If you want to deduct the hardware package from the hull, 'cause you already have tha hardware, then the hull is $115.00. Keep in mind that this hull is a $ 349.00 item if you bought it from Aeromarine, to say nothing of the $29.00 Bow rail!. Check it out, here is the link:

http://www.aeromarinerc.com/

This hull is now sold, and shipped to Niles Illinois, although the hardware that was to be included has been sold. However, I will still include a teflon lined shaft log, as well as reducing the price to $100.00 WITH shipping - Updated March 30 '05.

As noted in the previous post, the hardware package has been sold, but I will still include a teflon lined shaft log. Note above that the price has been reduced to $89.00 ! This hull has been sold-shipping to Illinois Updated March 27, '05

This is a Zenoah RC-230 air cooled stock engine with clutch and beautifully machined and anodized mounts with vibration damping rubber isolators. This engine is brand new, and has never been run. Includes 1/4 in. collet flex drive adaptor, exhaust header, NGK resistor spark plug and stainless steel mounting hardware .. ready to bolt in between 5 in. or 6 in. stringers. Value is roughly $249.00 for the engine, $129.00 for clutch ( plus collet adaptor ) , $30.00 for the mounts and a few more bucks for the exhaust coupler. Asking 200.00 for the package.

This engine is sold for the asking price, and on it's way to Iowa.

Here is a 20 cc. Kawasaki engine with vibration dampened mounts for 5 or 6 in. stringers, clutch, water cooled exhaust coupler, kill switch, throttle cable all set up, NGK resistor spark plug, and 1/4 in. flex shaft collet adaptor. This air-cooled engine is the last of 4, and has proved to be an extremely reliable powerplant, even in an enclosed hull, with reasonable air cooling circulation. It is by no means a trophy winner in the high speed department, but one of these pushes my Grandson's 50 in. , 11 lb. Aeromarine Apache at 17 MPH all day long. Keep in mind that a 50 in. +/- deep vee boat is approximately 1/8th scale, so 17 MPH X 8 = 136 MPH in real life, and it looks really good at that speed, and is a hell of a lot of fun !! AND ... when you bang into something ( OR your buddies RC boat ) at that speed, you bounce off, laugh YA Off, and continue to have more fun !! ... rather than watch two boats sink to the bottom !!

I'm asking $175.00 for this unused engine, complete as shown. I guarantee that you will be satisfied, or return the engine, and I will refund your $$.

This engine package is SOLD for $100.00 shipped, and on it's way to Texas-Updated Arpil 16, '05

The first three photos are of a used Zenoah "Green Machine" 23 cc. engine with mounts, NO clutch. The engine mounts are beautifly machined and anodized T-6061 aluminum, and the mouning bracketry and all the hardware is stailess steel.

However, please understand that I have never run this engine ! The cylinder is very clean, as well as the spark plug, however, it has had fuel in it, and the carb may be gummed up, so the carb may have to be de-gunked. The compression is excellent and the overall condition is very clean. Asking $50.00, which is about how much the engine mounts, vibration dampers and header coupler is worth. I have FINALLY found the B.H. Hanson 1/4 in. flex drive collet adapter for this engine, and it is shown in this newest pic ( 03-16-05 ), and it is included in the price. All the accessories are BRANDY NEW ! Shipping is extra .. probably $ 14.00 in the continental U.S.

This engine is sold, and shipping to Iowa-updated April 4 '05.

The 4th photo is a BRANDY NEW tuned pipe ( with a small "ding" ) and a "wrap forward to port" header, with a water-cooled header cupler from B.H Hanson. This will bolt up to any 23 cc. or 26 cc. Zenoah. This is the ONLY one left. Asking $50.00 for the pipe, header pipe, coupler and silicone connector. The silencer on the tail end is $15.00 extra.

[U]This pipe setup is sold and on it's way to Florida USA - Updated March 26, '05.

In the 5th photo is "Scale / Sport" exhaust system that is not "hot' , but sounds really good if you are into the scale realm of boating ... you know .. "different strokes for different folks !! This setup will also bolt up to any Zenoah ( and others ) exhaust port, but certainly it would make the most sense on a stock engine, NOT a "high performance" one. There are two of these setups ... the stacks can be ( and should be ) cut shorter and at an angle. They can also be polished / buffed to a dazzling, chrome-like shine, if you don't mind putting the extra effort. Machined and black anodized trim rings are included. Asking $50.00 each for each complete setup plus shipping.

The 2 "Scale / Sport" exhaust systems are both sold, and on their way to Florida, USA.

Photo ( 1 ) - Here are some Warehouse Hobbies radio boxes, with servo trays and smoked grey lids. They have plenty of space for a standard throttle servo, and a 1/4 scale rudder servo, as well as receiver, battery pack and a fail-safe. $10.00 each. 2 of the radio boxes are still available .. Updated March 24, '05.

Also, in the same pic are some International RC surface drives, with a stub shaft and furrule with which to connect your flex shaft. $20.00 ea. The last Cobra Drive is sold - updated March 27, '05.

Photo ( 2 ) The second photo is an assortment of driver figures, of which there are some six pairs of drivers. I incuded an example of what they can look like velcro'd onto a 50 in. Aeromarine Apache hatch. Sorry, you're on your own with the painting !! Two driver figures are FREE, with any hull purchase !!!

Photo ( 3 ) Miscellaneous Hardware
AeroTrend silicone exhaust tube:
2 - 12 in. lengths 5/8 in. I.D $5.00 ea.
1 - 12 in. legth 3/4 in. I.D. $5.00
1 - 12 in. length 7/8 in. I.D. $5.00
7 - Aeromarine stainless steel turn fins-3.7 in. high X 1.4 in. w.-$4.00 ea.
3 - B.H. Hanson stinger silencer for tuned pipe MSRP $36.00 > $15.00 ea.
11 - Aeromarine stainless water outlets- 10-32 thread size $1.00 ea.
24 Pair - Aeromarine straight barbed water fittings 10-32 thread $.75/pr.
10 - Aeromarine pressure fittings - 10-32 thread - $1.00 ea.
24 Pair - Aeromarine 90 degree water fittings - 10-32 thread-$2.00/pr.

Except for the silicone exhaust tubing, all of this hardware is sold and on it's way to Florida, USA - Updated March 23, '05.

This will be a nice clean ready to run 56 " Aeromarine Apache with a 22 cc. Echo Engine, Clutch, radio, navigation lights, scale Mercruiser outdrive, the works. It will Not be a speed record breaker, but it sure will be a lot of fun ... and it won't always be in the shop for repairs !

I do have to dust it off and take some pics .... soon.

This package was sold for the asking price of $500.00 shipped, and is heading for Texas as of April 16. 05.

I'll get back to you in a few,

Hi again Gary:

First off, I must thank you and Bill C. for hooking me up with that other forum. Although I really think they should have a more user-friendly photo / video format, the concentration of "Gas Only Boat" guys is absolutely amazing !! AND, I also feel that linking them over here is sort of cheating, but I couldn't think of another alternative

So ... as for what I have left to move out, the pickin's are slim ... as Slim Pickens once said !

At the top of the list is the 48" Aeromarine Challenger, as well as a

International RC Cobra Drive and a Warehouse Hobbies radio box. This is all awaiting a Money order. I just e-mailed the buyer and reminded him that I agreed to wait 'till Friday March 25, and then the goods would go to the next prospective buyer. At this point, there are no prospective buyers for the hull, but people are committing suicide over the Cobra Drives !

UPDATE! March 22, '05 .. The Challenger buyer has re-negged, due to an un-expected recent health related bill. So .. there is now a 48 in. Aeromarine Apache, Warehouse hobbies radio box and International RC Cobra Drive available.

Next is the Warehouse Hobbies Hydro, as well as the absolutely beautiful drive / rudder setup. I have had several tire-kickers on this one, but no confirmations.

Then, the damaged 56 in. Apache bare hull is still available, and I may have to accept offers on that one !!

Next, are the Kawasaki and "Greenie" engines ... still available.

Then, the tuned pipe setup is tha same as the Challenger, awaiting funds.

I haven't had time to put the 56 in. Apache RTR boat with scale Mercruiser Outdrive onto the site, but I.m working on it. It's definitly a sport boat .. 22 MPH ( REAL TIME ON RADAR ).

Hardware wise, I'm pretty much wiped out, got a couple of NIB Futaba S-134 1/4 scale servos for $15.00 ea.

I'm sure I'll dig some other goodies up here and there, but that's about it ! Of course I do have a 60 in. Schluter Champion heli, nitro power, with radio, lots of spares, extra canopy, manuals, NEVER Flown, Never crashed that I'm sure you'd be real interested in ?!?!?!?

So, that's it for now .... let me know if anthing tickles your fancy,

Russ :)

I really appreciate the kind words, and glad you're happy with your purchase.

Well, as far as other stuff, assuming Roy takes the "Greenie" Zenoah", all that is left is the Challenger hull and the cute little 20 cc. Kawasaki ... everything else is gone !!

Thanks again,

Hi Jay:

Thanks for your response, but everything listed and pictorially illustrated is sold, with the exception of the 48 in. Aeromarine Challenger hull, and the 20 cc. Kawasaki engine / clutch / mount setup ..... sorry.

I will be listing a 56 in. Aeromarine ARF with 22 cc. Echo engine / clutch, International Hobbies Mercruiser Stern Drive, radio box, Futaba servos, Deans antenna, Ram nav lite setup, no radio ... by the weekend of April 10 if that turns you on ?!?!
