Astro watt meter modifications

Hi,
Anyone know how to add the external battery to a older super
whatt meter? I have one a few months older then the new version
and like the idea of getting a more accurate voltage/draw measurement.

I don't believe the gain in accuracy would be noticable enough to make it worth your trouble. That extra plug is mainly for powering the unit when testing power systems below 4v.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if it will work with a futaba battery. I have lots of them around. Only about 1 use for them, the 9v's seem to get robbed around the house to power other things!
