As a new KCSE member, thank you "soarcat" for your welcome.

With this climate change, we should have a great season.

I would like to check out the Edgerton site. Would someone post an address, location, directions from 175 ST.

From the 175th field go west thru Gardner and 175th turns into 56 highway. Go west 10 miles to Edgerton. West from Edgerton past road 1061. 1/2 mile west to road 2200 and the field is on the north side of the road.

James,

It looks like some of the members will be flying at the 175th Street field(we call it the Gardner site) starting about 10:00. I will get there about noon I think. Hope to see you there.

Jim, check that last post.

The field we call the Edgerton Field, a.k.a. MILLER'S SOD FARM, is at the corner of HWY 56 and 2100 (twenty one hundred) road.

At least that's the field and address I have registered with AMA.

The field is fenced. There are two entrances. The usual one is on 2100 road about 1/4 of a mile to the north of HWY 56. It is merely a section or two of fence that's open. No gate. The other is on the west side of the field immediately infront of the metal building. Entrance to this is from HWY 56.

NOTE TO ALL -- we DO NOT DRIVE ON THE SOD. Mr. Miller is good enough to allow us to park inside the fence in the area around the gap and we may drive on the outermost 15 feet or so of the sod -- keep it as close to the fence as possible, no big turns. Do not attempt any of this if you have any reason to believe that there has been a recent rain sufficient to make the ground soft.

We ask that non-members not fly at this field until we have met you at the site and you have joined both the AMA and our club.

Sorry for the oppressive rules, but we are guests there. We need to maintain ourselve in our host's best interests.

The best way to get an internet map to the site is to use mapblast or such and search for Blackjack, KS. It is slightly west of 2100rd.

Thanks.
