The Trio, a 3.15 meter span full function thermal duration sailplane is designed by and is exclusively available from Isthmus Models. It has a carbon and Kevlar pod and carbon boom, typical Ukranian wing construction with carbon capped spar with full width shear webs wrapped in Kevlar. The D-tube is made from CNC molded carbon/Kevlar hybrid cloth. The ribs are carbon capped as are the tail pieces. It has a MH-32 airfoil and an empty weight of 37 oz. Wings are covered in transparent Ultracoat and the kit comes with CNC cut G-10 control horns and Isthmus Models exclusive CNC cut adjustable tow hook. After many months of design and refinement the Trio is now available to the public. Pricing is $700.00 plus shipping.
