The graphics card is the thing. I just set up XTR on my Celeron 700 and it runs pretty well. Of course I had to upgrade the graphics card - ended up with a RadeOn Predator 9250 for $30 from CompUsa, which is barely enough. It runs in a window about half screen on a 21" monitor, uses the Reflex field (not one of the photo-real ones). It's all I need, there is no jerkiness. Frame rate is up around, well, it goes from about 30-110 or so. But frame rate isn't everything, if it has the jerks, it's bad news - unflyable. This will do me until I get a better computer.

So all your specs don't matter so much, the graphics card is the thing, and you can always upgrade that. Look at the ones CompUsa has, they had a $179 special that was tempting - I bet XTR would run great with that. Guys talk about it running RF G3 great. (RadeOn 9800 Pro.)

With my slow processor, it takes a bit of time to get a new model loaded after each crash - (so I try to crash less!) Also takes longer to load the program, and it hates other things running when XTR is open. But your processor will be way better than mine.

Radeon 9550 works just fine at full res so anything later than that should be fine.
