Hope somebody reads this seeing there is no other threads here but I was wondering if anyone knows the value of the old Nobler from the late 60's to early 70's
Thanx

Since the plans and a Brodak kit are still readily available I doubt if it's particularly valuable unless that individual model has some specific history, like GMA himself used to fly it.
If it's a kit rather than a built one it would depend which of the several kits it is but I don't know them well enough to be more definite, sorry. Some of them seem to fetch a bunch of money on EBay from time to time.

Don't let any one fool you your kit has value to a collector. If it is a green box Nobler 1957 or so. It is a good one. Hang on to it or wait for the collector who knows what you have. The fact that Brodak has a Nobler does not replace an original one. Worth a cool $125.00 or so

Hi Bill,
good to see a little life round here. You're right if it is a late 50s kit and not from the late 60s, early 70s as Dauntae said it will be worth something but I've not heard of collectors paying big money for the later kits.
Not that I know much about collecting, it seems a strange habit to me. Kits are for building and flying not hoarding in the hope of making money.

Value? I have one. Built it in the 60's on a very small apartment. Best flying airplane I've ever enjoyed doing the patter with. Value? Heck, mine's priceless.
You've got a piece of History on your hands. George Aldrich designed it in, I believe, 1952. It has been called "The Winningest C/L Plane". It popularized having flaps move opposite the elevators. It's got an airfoiled tail to keep the lines tight. An inverted engine to make the lines clean. Really, Daunte, if there's any way you can hold onto it, do so. As I said, I have mine, it still flies great even in the Rockies where I now live, and I wouldn't part with it for anything.
