Hi
I've just built a MM Tantrum and the weight without Batteries is 14 oz, I noticed on the Mountainmodels website that they have the AUW with LiPos as 12 - 13 ozs.
I thought I had built it standard other than some thicker than necessary reinfoced tape on the control surfaces. I used solar light covering and have a pretty standard setup as far as I know.
My setup currently is:
Stock GWS 300c Motor and Gearbox
3 HS55 servos 1 Pico servo
Jeti Rex 4 ch Rx
GWS ICS300 ESC
KAN1050 Batts which add another 6 ozs taking the AUW up to 20 ozs!
So I was wondering how other peoples weights compare and if there are any weight cutting measures I could do (other than LiPos I know that will make a big difference)
Thanks
Steve
