A local store is closing its store front, and is offering 40% off
on the models.
One of these is the 1/35 scale JFK PT-109 motorized model kit -$85
If anyone is interested, contact Dr Tongue's collectable store in Portland, Oregon. His website will remain in business, however,
He will be closing his store front on E 14th and Burnside in May.

Thanks Patman
I Was Just Hopeing Someone Would Have One Now At A Good Price So I Could Start Building It Now,before The Lake Thaws. I Need It As A Rescue Boat Incase I Dump My R/c Float Plane In The Drink.
My Thought Is To Send Out The Pt Boat To "hook" The Plane And Bring It Back To Shore.i Think The Stock Motor Will Be Ok For This.
Thanks For Thr Info..john

Hey Merlin;
I thought that plane landed on the water not dive into it. Where are you in SW Fl. I'm in Bonita so we aren't too far away. Pete

Boy, I hate to hear that. Another local hobby shop closes.
I have to admit I miss the local proprietor. They may be a little more expensive and maybe we don't buy everything from the local Mom & Pop, but I have always tried to spend some in the local shops. I think it is a sad day when we lose these.
