I was thinking of starting a little biz where I rent a G2 or G3 simulator for 7-10
days. Good for beginners that need a little help learning to fly. I don't know what a good price to charge would be.
Any thoughts or comments ?
thanx

Posting the same thing in multiple forums is not allowed I believe. If you are serious about this why don't you call up RealFlight and see what they have to say. It might enlighten you.....

Hmm I think a DVD/games club (=rentals shop) could do this much more easily and
efficient than any individual.
Price should be at a DVD rental price (1-2 Euros / day) or PC game price (5 Euros / week), well those are Greek prices...

I think it's kind of a cool idea. I belong to a club in which I am an instructor and was trained for free. If I had a student that really could benefit from using a simulator, but for some reason didn’t want to lend him mine, having a rental available to him would be nice. I don’t think however that I could be his instructor, and renter at the same time. I could give my club a bad name by implying that were trying to make money instead of furthering the enjoyment of aero-modeling. i.e. " They say they want to teach you for free, but really they want to hook you with paid services" so if you belong to a club, bounce the idea off them and see what kind of response you get.
Here in the states, I would pay $10 bucks a week for such a rental.
