I was looking for li-poly chargers when stumbled on to this.

If you're into kits that seems reasonable enough. It looks to be some flavour of the standard two lm317 type linear charger. Not fast for large cells, but probably robust enough. It will ONLY charge 3-cell packs, though, unless you hacked it into a two cell charger. You could make the same thing from parts if you wanted, there are plenty of this type of schematics floating around. If you're looking for an intro project, or just want a cheap charger without a lot of fuss, this one looks useful and isn't exorbitantly overpriced for what you get.
Of course, there could be some horrible design flaw in it that I can't see from the photos.

Cool, I was just wondering, since I see alot of other Li Poly chargers go for so much, and give the same results. I've worked with Li-Ion on my computers, and Ive seen what happens if something goes awry. Seeing some of the schematics on this forum I am supprised how easy it is to charge a Li Poly pack

Unless I'm mistaken, there doesnt seem to be any current adjustment...so it cant cater for lower mah packs..apart from the jumper in the bottom right corner of the pcb...wot is that ?
here's a link for it on their homepage..http://www.dsns.com/cgi-shl/dsns.exe/rctech/moreinfo.htm?sku=LP24003KIT

Looks like it might be for a reciever or something. but dont quote me on that. I've been looking at alot of li-poly batteries and it seems that 7.4v only comes in a 2 cell configuration. So I guess Ill opt for a 2 cell charger that they are also selling. If they had a schematic of the 3 cell charger, it might not be that hard to modify the circuit to accept 2 cells, since maybe just a switch and a resistor is just needed, then again, I could be wrong I have to see the board with my own eyes than to just see a picture.
