I've got another JR R700 with a shattered ceramic filter. I fixed the last one with a filter like that used in Futaba SC recievers, which works well, but being a pinned unit is a lot chunkier than the original SM unit in the JR. Has anyone had any luck sourcing a SM profile filter?

I have no idea where you are located, but Radio South may be able to sell you what you need. Unlike Horizon, they have sold me JR repair parts.
