When will I be ready to try out gas?I have 1/2 a year expierce with electric.

Do you mean glow fuel or gasoline?
I don't know that there is necessarily any point at which you will be more ready than you are now. Ask the folks at your local club for some opinions on planes suitable for your level of flying experience, and ask them to help you get familiar with it.

Hey Catcher, when you try gas (more likely glow) you might change your motto from "No wind, GREAT!!!" to "Wind, GREAT!!!" :)

Well just like Kwok said you are Rdy just need to know few more things about glow engines & how to tune them. Really you should do fine .
And if you want i could hook you up with a free engine for your start in glow, send me your e-mail to talk about it .
