Anyone heard of one ?
I want a device to plug in to my rx that will flash a strobe for 5 seconds every time a glitch is detected. I hope this will make flying at a distance safer as I will know as soon as the signal is starting to fail to reach the rx. I remember how good it was to hear the motor stutter on my early electric powered planes when the signal was being interfiered with, it saved me flying on too far when all was not well. I now fly a big heli and would like to know when all is not well before its too late.

Thanks, Terry

I have used this for a while:
https://www.flugmodellbau.de/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/24/products_id/34
it doesn't flash a strobe but monitors one servo and and fails it to an adjustable position when glitches or low receiver battery voltage are detected.

You're probably better off spending your money on good receivers tough. I stopped using this device when I began using Schulze (~Berg) receivers.

Simple high quality FM receivers might be better than DSP types, since you would see your heli twitch a bit with glitches?

Bergs or PCM would cover it up, until signal is totally lost and boom...

Hi, terry

Here you can find something interesting

http://aeronews.free.fr/anciensnum/19-electropratique.zip

It's an on-board glow heather, filtering small glitches and placing the throttle servo on a programmable fail-safe position if signal lost.
It's also possible to manually get back control of the engine if signal comes back ...
and overall a buzzer sounds for glitches ...

you can use what you want on the buzzer's output ...

The LoMA lost model alarm has a glitch counter feature. You could use an LED instead of the buzzer. http://www.rc-cam.com/lma.htm
