 I recently install my AFPD with the USB interface utilizing a Futaba 7C tranmitter. I purchased an adapter cord for the square connecter on my trans. from OMP that is supposed to disable the RF circuitry. While testing this feature on my model with the transmitter connected to the computor the controls on the model still functioned. Should this be happening with the circuitry disabled?

Depending on the TX, it may still emit a RF signal with the
interface cord installed on the TX.

Take the XTAL out of the TX...No XTAL=No Signal

It will extend your battery live when you are using the simulator also.

Try it..

Also people say you can not be in PCM mode, you must be in PPM or FM mode or it will not transmit any data. :o

Thanks for the help. I talked with OMP yesterday and they told me that it doesn't disable the RF module. They will check out their add and make corrections. Good group of people, very helpful.
