Hi people,
Someone's asked a question about fuse side areas and yaw behaviour on the 3D forum http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=331535
I've answered as best as I can, but I feel like I'm getting somewhat out of my depth. I would really like to hear anyone else's thoughts on this question.
Graham.

I would say your posting is quite comprehensive and there is nothing more to say about it. Good job.
So that's my .016 euro cent to it, or what's the change today  ?
P.S.: Do You actually happen to have a Salto?

Biber,
Yes, I've got a 30 year old Wik Salto. It's still my favourite model. I re-built it with modern R/C equipment and 4 wing servos last year (added flaps). It's beautiful to see in the air and still outperforms most other models at the slope.

Sadly I don't have a Salto model :( but we have a 1:1 Salto in our gliding club :) and its great fun to do aerobatics with and then regain altitude thermalling :D . No MDM1 Fox and no S1 Swift will do that :p . And the Salto simply is a beautiful and an all around handy little glider. We have production number three. I don't remember its date of birth exactly but it may be about the same age yours is.
Graham, continue having fun with your Salto at least the next 30 years.
I hope we will do so too.
