Hello All,
I wish to convert a Power Wheels vehicle to radio control.
Has anyone done this? Anyone know where I can get info./parts to accomplish this conversion?
Thanks in advance for any/all leads.
Regards,
Jim

www.servocity.com
Get a land TX, RX and 2 high tourque servos.
One for steering and other for pushing the pedel.

I don't know anyone who has done this.
The concept is the same as a boat or car.
Using layers of thin plywood (hobby grade) you can build a platform which the servos can be mounted to. With a winch or rigging you can set pullys to turn the steering wheel or try to fabricate the servo mount to intergrate with the steering shaft itself.
I did this set-up for a Soling 1M Sailboat to move the boom left to right.
The Website has "flight packs" to suit your needs. Read up on the various tourque levels certain servos can do.
Use a 75Mhz radio system because well.....It's legal. I'd also suggest a FM and duel conversion RX (receiver) these will have less glitching and faults.
