I got this boat from a friend who got it from Ebay. He didn't get any information or documentation on it. I would like to know if it was a kit or built from plans or any other info you could provide. It is 50 inches long, 15 inches wide and all wood.I am restoring it to full detail and operation.

I'm also trying to think of a good name for it. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

After looking through various web pages I haven't seen any that resemble that one. I would guess that it is a custom design and scratch built.

I'll give it a try, in 1972 a boat builder in california published a small book of his blue print and sold it all over the place. And this is one of them, I've got the book here some were I'll find it and get some info on it. I built one of his boats back then. I'll will post again when I find it.

as regards a name, how about "Rêver Le Dauphin", (Dolphin's dream)

I found it: the book was put out by Glen l. witt, 9152 E. Rosecrans bellflower, california. I looked through it and the boat I thought it was wasn't sorry, but your boat may be a nock off of the same boat. I under stand that this company is still in bisness in california, the book sold for $1.00 in 1972, there are a lot of plans for all kinds of boats, for a number of projects, sail, motor boats, etc. I enjoyed looking through it again and found another boat to build. Latter.

ropanach- Thanks for looking it up. I went to the Glen L. Witt website, http://www.glen-l.com/
and looked at their index of designs. It does look a little like the "Lazy Daze" , but not quite. I have emailed them to see if they might know what it is.

Thanks again,
Bill
