I have nearly finished building my Norhwind 36/600. I have a few queries that iam not sure about as the instructions are unclear
1. Do I glue the mast spreaders in place so that they dont twist on the mast
2. Do I glue both top and bottom of the mast joiner or just the bottom.
3. How have others dealt with the problem of having to unscrew the hatch each time to switch off the servos. Iam intending to drill a small hole in the cover and insert a small grommet so that i can stick a wire into, to turn off the switch. Constantly unscrewing the cover will weaken the screw holes. What do you think.
Your help would be greatly appreciated

Dont glue anything on the mast. Just use the luff tape. That way, you can pull it apart later. Place an external switch, with ruber top, outside by the grinder. Glue the keel bulb covers to lead, especialy ay keel fin joint, very weak area. Silicon radio box in instead of glueing. lots of silicon on all bottom of box and mast tube. :)

Thanks for your advise. (PCalmels).
The yacht had is maiden sail on sunday and all went well :) :) .
Just need to sort out the jib sheet that comes loose. If I follow ABC'S instructions on this using a sheet bowsie, It will always come loose where it is connects with the main sheet. Iam going to tie a small loop on the main sheet and connect the jib sheet on it. Any future adjustment to the jib can be done using the bowsie on jib boom.
