Hi,

Just in case anyone from the UK was thinking about importing Realflight G3 from the US …

Realflight G3 from Tower Hobbies (http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/realflight/gpmz4400.html) including delivery £116
V.A.T. £21.22
Duty £0!
Parcelforce Clearance fee £8.00

Total £145.22

Not a bad price considering I’ve seen G2 on sale for £199  The order took six days to arrive and Tower Hobbies unfortunately do not provide a parcel tracking number.

Regards,

Tony.

Thanks for this just placed an order, hope I don't get any nasty shocks from the posty when he asks me to pull out my cheque book.

For those interested, today is the last day tower hobbies have a $30 off promo on anything $199+, which RFG3 is!! Dont forget to enter the code!

£145?? but you can get XTR for £115 or AFPD for £108 here in the UK - so why would you buy G3 for more?!?

Hi Cliff,

The simple answer is I’m just starting out i.e. I don’t have a transmitter or plane yet. XTR only comes with a cable as far as I could make out on their website and AeroFly Professional Deluxe with USB Game Commander is £142 .

With hindsight and at the risk of going off topic I wish I had bought AFPD. Maybe I’ll pay a visit to Ebay.

Regards,

Tony
