does anyone know where i can purchase a USB interface for G2 in Australia ?

It depends which version of RealFlight G2 you are talking about.
There were, basically, 3 versions of RF G2: two non- or pre-Interlink versions (one with a parallel port interface cabble and the other with a game port controller), and one Interlink version of RealFlight G2 (not counting Lite and NextStar, which are just stripped-down versions of the "full" RealFlight G2-Interlink):

The first two, non-Interlink, versions of RF G2 can be controlled with any gamepad/joystick or a TX-to-PC interface, which presents itself to Windows as a joystick. Such interfaces from MileHighWings.com are quite popular in Australia:
