Razor is having a sale on everything for the next 3 days--35% off.

http://www.razormotors.com/

Now you can buy a nice US made motor at about the same price as the cheap imports!

I ordered a 24-3650 from Razor while on sale (1-15-05) and got it today.

Awesome service, amazing price for this motor.

Any of you guys that missed this sale...well, you missed a great opportunity.

P.S. I owe you one, Steve :)

Indeed, thanks Steve. I don't check razor's site often, but I did check it out and take advantage of the sale. Not just a 3650, but picked up an RZ400 too. I haven't received mine yet...in fact I don't think he's even billed my card yet.

Hey Jeff, I thought you were only investing in outrunners these days. :P

I like to diversify, 25:1 inrunners to outrunners is about right IMHO :)

Duh..I went to their website and did not see any reference to a sale. Hints?

The sale was like 3 or 4 days only, ended midnight 1-16-05.

... they would have listed sale in "For sale electric" where this kind of thing is posted. But instead I am buying a used 10 turn Astro 010 because this obscure sale was kept under the cuff. No worries I have caught a horrid service thread or two when dealing with these guyss. Better luck next time Razor USA....

Well, if thread had of been posted in "For Sale Electrics", I'm sure the mods would have locked it and probably moved it here anyway.

There were a couple of "Power Systems" threads that mentioned it as well.

I'm just glad Steve posted it here, so at least some of us could benefit.

I see plenty of vendors list items there. I thought all you needed to post was an item and a price. Seriously i have been in the market for a month now and I hear about this sale after the fact? I can't honestly be expected to keep on top of ever single forum here. If they wanted my sale and posted anywhere close to a sale forum they would have my money and not my heated words. Makes me wish I would have bought that Razor off you back a few months ago for 50 clams cause I wont go higher now lol!

So has everyone that ordered razors from Matt during the big sale received theirs? I still have not received mine. I would email Matt at Razor, but his site states to give him 6~8 weeks of lead time. Rather exorbitant considering my credit card was billed for this stuff some time ago. Still waiting...it'll be 6 weeks here pretty soon.

Has anyone put their 3650 to work yet? Thoughts & opinions on it?

Today's the 15th. Another week's passed, and still nothing from Razor (except the charge on my card). Anyone else still waiting?

OMG that is sooo sad. I'm all for cottage industries but jeez that does not mean you chuck your customer service out the window! I can only imagine what would happen if you needed a repair while under warranty....

P.S. I guess it was stated that their was a 6-8 week wait so you knew what to expect. I love sales when the product does not exsist yet lol!

Which motor did you order? I order the RZ-H2 and the RZ-Micro-Heli v2.0. I recieved the RZ-H2 but am still waiting for the RZ-Micro-Heli v2.0.

I ordered a 24-3650, an RZ2500 and an RZ300. Nothing in today's mail (Wednesday). I see Matt's got another sale going on at Razor. Seems like he could fill past orders before taking on a bunch of new ones.

It's been a while, but the motors finally arrived today. Almost everything I expect. I posted my thoughts in the vendor talk forum (thought that might be more appropriate).

I'm still waiting for my second motor. Maybe I'll get lucky Monday.

Probably not Monday. President's day is a federal holiday, so no mail delivery. :)

Don't forget to pull the mounting screws out of the motor housing.....

Check the bottom of the home page for RazorMotors.com It is not an excuse, but a reason for some of the inconsistency. One man operation with serious health and family issues.....

The second motor arrived today. A long wait, but in the end, everything went fine. There were no loose screws, they were taped to the packing material. It was $7.50 total shipping and handling for 2 motors shipped separately. Thanks Matthew, hope things are going well for you.
