Although I have RealFlight G2 I DL'ed a copy of FMS. All I can say is wow - for free what more could you ask?

As for a controller, I hit the local office supply (Staples) and picked up a Logitech Gamepad dual axis controller for about $15 USD and calibrated it to 1432-1432 and I was good to go. The only thing I'd like to change is removing the centering spring on the left stick. Software is running on XP no probs.

I strongly recommend this setup for anyone even remotely interested in flying RC.

The G2 controller works for FMS too.

And for Microsoft Flight Sim 2002 as well. But that is not the point. :) Besides, at 10 times the cost the G2 controller is overkill for FMS.
