www.allerc.com (http://www.allerc.com) No motor is included in the kit and I realize that $90.00 may sound steep but I am just building mine now and I really feel like it is a good value for this kit. I hope to have videos up soon and so far I really like how easy it goes together.
Sincerely,

After my experience with the Zoom Zoom, I am not using the wire rods that come in these kits. I ordered some .060" inch carbon rods to use instead. Just to be sure it would work I ripped the wire out of the fuse of my ZZ and replaced it with the carbon before I commited to building the Zoom Bi. The carbon rods are much stiffer and a bit lighter. It really stiffened up the ZZ.

Mike:
I just finished my Zoom Bi on Sunday and flew it and it is really stable and does knife edge hands free.
I used the entire kit contents except for the metal spars and the motor mount since I used a Himax 2015-4166. For the wing and fuselage spars, I used .157 cf tubes and what a difference it made compared to my zoom zoom with the metal rods. No twisting of the fuse and it is really a pleasure to fly. I love it so far.

I just finished my Zoom Bi on Sunday and I used the stock kit, except the metal spar rods and the engine mount (since I needed a stick mount). For the wing and fuselage spars, I used 157 carbon tube (probably a bit overkill but oh well). I am incredibly impressed with how well this thing flew right off the bat. It does knifeedge almost hands free and although it is not a scale airplane it flies like a real biplane. If I were to build another one, I would probably do it with 125 carbon tube since that would be more than adequate.
I love it so far.

Dave,
I'm going to maiden the bipe that I got from you in the morning. I was going to use cf tubes but decided to build it "stock". I did use 4 servo's though. With a Razor 400 and a 12" prop I'm shure it's gonna rock.
My question to you is can you or will you get some of the Hacker floats? I'd like to get both sets of foam floats #1807 and #1808.
Thanks,
Eric

I don't think we will get the floats anytime real soon but maybe sometime.
Have you thought of trying the GWS floats? I think they would work.
