I feel violated paying ridiculous prices for 10 cent servos leads from hobby stores. Has anyone found out where to get them for good prices? (specially around Brisbane)

Cheers :)

Ashtek (http://ashtekelectronics.com/store/index.php?cPath=31&osCsid=7ad78d1ac4f70703b88185322abb9696)

Not only sell ready made leads, but all the parts to make your own.

I'd vote for ashtek too. i bought the servo crimp tool, and have been making my own leads and connectors up since. I'm not sure that it works out significantly cheaper, but at least by making your own, you can ensure that the quality is to your standards!

I'd suggest having a look at aircraft-world.com, except their site is down while they move office.

Otherwise, check out hstore.com.au ($2.97 ea)

I think I know what you want them for :)

I buy them well under a buck from MaxxProd, but I get them 250 to 500 at a time.

How many do you need?

I want around 20.

Do the JR ones fit all the other brands? I know I have to mod the futaba plugs to fit into my JR reciever.

Yes, JR is the one to get. I didn't notice you were in Oz. E-mail me and we'll talk.

One other suggestion: You're gonna have broken/useless servos if you model long enough. SAVE THEM! You can use the leads, motors, and other parts off of them (assuming the part you want is still good).
