I'm interested in a portable usb controller (dual joystick) that will work with FMS and for biz trips. Carrying a transmitter is just too bulky. Any suggestions?

Is the left (throttle) joystick self centering on the y-axis? If so, can you remove the spring(s)? Has anyone actually *used* a gamepad? Was the response and sensitivity satisfactory?
