no-one is answering becasue it is a noob question. along the line of "my heli crashed- can you tell me why" or "how do I hover straight up and down??"
Most of these adjustments are done at the flight line. Being there, seeing what it does and reacting/adjusting on the spot. So the real answer is- without being there and seeing it, how would we know?
Dont mean to sound like i'm putting you off, I'm just want u to understand that there is some thing s that are just too hard to explain in a forum, whereas at the field with an experienced heli flier, these adjustments would take the better part of 2 minutes!
Of course, if you are here in the 3d forum, I guess you have mastered the basics of heli flight. You can hover and fly around, right? That means you already have your pitch curve set up for basic flight. Do you know how to set up your throttles and pitch for 3d flight? that is the first step. If not, there is no neet to ask in a fourm; there ar plenty of how-to's around in hundreds of heli sites- just google search that. After youve got that set right, you can then adjust your control throws. Control throws are a function of rotor head speed. In other words, you continually adjust and fine tune your throws to give you the maximum response without bleeding off too much headspeed when you bang in maximum cyclic (usually checked at maximum collective)

I have learned about this from other places now. I am not a noob to helis just 3d.
Thanks :D

Thanks :D
Dont mean much to us. they are just your ATV settings. what you really need to show are degrees of pitch if you want someone to make any sense of it

If you want your Zoom to flip 'real tight' then you need to replace both the paddle holders and the mixers. Throws and rates wont do dick compaired to hardware mods.

I am learning 3d myself, also with a zap/zoom. get lighter paddle holders, and some of my mixer arms and that will make life alot easier. Curves, well, make sure when the throttle stick is in the middle, you have 0 pitch.
then your curve should go 0 25 50 75 100.; and for throttle 100-80-100
then go for it, flipping it is the easiest, get some hight, a little forward speed, and pull up, as its upside down pull the throttle right back, then as it rotates the right way round, apply + throttle.
let me know how go, Im having fun
