OK i just got this thing and its junk. I read the instructions did everything they said. And it wont even come off of the ground. Both rotors spin but it will not come off the ground. Will Interactive toys give me a refund? I read about people who get theres to fly and everything but mine and my friends both will not fly. And thats not all right out of the box i turned it on (like the instructions say) i tried to fly it and the blad broke just by spinning and it never even came off the ground. Any Help?

Greatly Dissapointed, especially after i spent alot of money on this.

Yes of course ITC will honor the warrantee. Just contact cust service during bus hours and they'll take care of you. Sorry to hear about the problem with the BR but please understand that of the many thousands that have been produced, it is inevitable that a few will be defective - it's just a matter of statistics.

You may have gotten the older version, there have been reports of poor performance from the very first ones that were produced. The earliest versions are black with the tail motor wires outside of the tail boom and a ratcheted throttle on the transmitter. That version had the worst battery. Newer versions have much better batteries in them and performance is greatly improved.

Tres Wright is very right. Ha! - couldn't resist :-) Please note that exposed tail wires do not necessarily mean that you have a Gen 1 version. There are recent ones with exposed tail wires that fly exactly as they should. In any case, ITC *will* honor your warranty.

Thankyou for your help. I just had an idea that the reason it wont fly might be my altitude as i am above 5000 ft. That could be a problem with it. Dont think im crazy. A real helicopter pilot had to lift something high here and had trouble doing it becouse of the altitude.

Fotta- LOL! On the newer black ones, is there a way to tell them apart from the older (pre-QVC) black ones?

Gamer, if you're at a high altitude, try twisting more pitch into the rotor blades. Especially out towards the tips. You could be right, the altitude might be culprit.

Tres W.
By the weight. If the weight is 49-51 grams you have a rather new version.
The first version was about 53 grams.

Hey dude, with regards to your not being able to get airborn. I found mine came with a really low charge. Directions say to run it down until you lose power then fully charge and give it a go. Mine worked really good until a crow attacked it.....now I'm reparing blades!!
