My wife bought me a blade runner for xmass. We have a huge 3rd floor w/ 20 ft ceilings. I went there to fly it for the 1st time. It took off and drifted to the left. Ended up hovering over a chair - couldn't powerdown there. Then it got 'sucked' to a wall - the wall of our stairwell. It hit the railing, tipped and fell. THREE STORIES to the 1st floor! This is a 40 ft drop! Landed upside-down on steps of 1st floor.
Dog was downstairs!! Yelled down for wife and in-laws to grab the dog. Amazing how these things happen.
Luckily, dog was scared of it. Cracked lower rotor where it joins the 'axel' -- very hard to tape that. Tried super glue - no dice. Finally taped it using tweezers!
Amazingly, it works now!
I notice that it barely moves forward or backwards. Thinking of cutting back rotor ring and maybe taking the body off (after reading some of these posts).
