Well I just got my dad a bladerunner. Unfortunatly its one of the first versions :(.
Theres a problem with it already, we flew it for the first charge that it came with, then we charged it for 20mins no problems. Then tried to start it up and it wont.
I know there is a delay sometimes when moving the controls and the heli reacting but its totaly dead. There is no light on the controler when switched on, but when plugged into the charger it flashes fine. Ive tried replacing the battery in the remote and still the same problem.

Any help will be much apreciated.

Are you sure the BR was turned off at the time?

Turned off at the time of what?
If you mean charging then im about 80% sure it was, if it wasnt would that damage it completly?

You have to have the BR and the transmitter off while charging. If you charge it with the BR on, it wouldn't do any harm I think. When I said "turned off at the time" I meant by the time of charging.

Well it was all off when charging, and there seems to be no function from the transmitter at all (no led on).
Im going to try charging it all again and see what happens.

Try wiggling or reconnecting the wire that goes to the BR. The light should be flashing 3 seconds on and 1 second off.

Well either the remote has completely broken, or the heli is fully charged.

Before when charging everything was as the instructions said, there wasnt a single problem. So why would it stop working now?

You say: "There is no light on the controler when switched on, but when plugged into the charger it flashes fine." and you have also replaced the battery with a new one.

This seems to be a fault in the power to the Tx. The charging electronics gets it's power from the charger, but the Tx gets it from the 9 V battery. I would try to open the Tx and look for broken wires or shorts. Hope you find the fault.

Ha! Someone has exactly the same problem I have. Switch the contol on and no green light...nothing. I'm taking mine back. There is a definite problem with using the charging circuit.
