why do different hubs stops or not

Hi Im in process of building my electric autogyro first time, I see so many variations of hubs and some work well that differ from others, some have no up stops and 1 bolt, some have a solid round disks and nothing else,some say you need a delta hub, whats the scoop on they work or dont ? I believe the Dleta type heads help with spin up.. As the blade tips flex up the pitch is reduced. As they flatten out it is increased. Hard to explain but if you make a small model you can see it.
