have anyone ever try to ship their old Bladerunner back to replace it with the new one?because i heard that there are new versions of it out there
i got an old one and it only flies for like 40 seconds. it is still covered by the warranty but if i ship it back, they might just send me the same version :(

If you have an early black version, your flight time is about normal. If you are a tinkerer, you can open it up and replace the battery cell with a 340 Kokam and improve your flight times to 8-10 minutes. You will give up the possibility of returning it though.

My one is a pain in the ass. Never follows commands and trim adjustment is terrible. This is the 2nd one I have now and no luck.

btw- does anyone know what the flashing green light means. It's not explained in the manual.

Sent mine back to Interactive Toys in Toronto Canada for replacement due to a flight duration issue. The old one shows delivered to them on 12/20. I'll report on what I get back.

Flashes when charging. Turns off when the charge is complete. If the TX light flashes when the charger is not connected, change the TX battery.

thanks for the reply, but is it easy to install the 340 Kokam? because i'm not really familiar with lithium polymer cell. The original battery read 3.7 V so is it a single cell? and where can i get it? i don't want to buy it online because then i have to pay for shipping. should i go to my local hobby store and find out? Does it fit on the frame like the original one?Can i use the same charger for the 340 Kokam, if so how long does it take to fully charge it?

I'm pleased to report that my replacement arrived today. 7 day turn arround with two of those days being Christmas Eve and Christmas. Outstanding!!!

The replacement flies great and appears to be the latest version. Black, tail rotor wire inside the boom, black rotor rings...etc. Flies better than the Purple QVC model I have. Noticablely more forward authority when flying.

Well worth the cost of shipping the old one back!!!

Something to consider before you start cutting into one that is not performing up to snuff.

The flashing "Green Light" means that the transmitter 9V battery is low - try to use alkaline batteries - don't use niMH 9V batteries since they only output about 7.2V instead of 9V just because of the nature of niMH...

I would be glad to send mine back for replacement but i already tried to repair the rotors myself and dont know if that would make a difference in my case. Terms and conditions wise. (I mean they were broke in the first place, ie, no good. Therefore i should not be held back for trying to fix the mistake. Note i did not physically cut or modify the craft in anyway
