Some of the vendors out there have great looking products, but how do they fly??

Hi Don,
I scratch built mine from plans and have not tried any of the ARF's or kits that are out there, yet. I sold all my glow stuff years ago and gone totally electric. So, I have to be somewhat selective as to the models I can do E-conversions on. If I go with a prebuilt model, it would have to be the Gyro Bee from Autogyro Company Of Arizona. I have seen videos of this gyro fly and it looks very smooth. This bird also comes with a wing! It can convert into a plane, which I thought was very neat!
The company just had a nice write-up in Fly RC mag as well. The author of the article used an Astro Flight brushless 25 motor in the bird and was using lipos for power. I have the Jan. 2005 issue of the rag.

Thanks John. I've been eyeing that model for a couple of years. Guess it's getting time to take the plunge. Any other companies out there?

Not to be too self promoting but me and my business partner do have a kit coming out very soon!!! It's for a pager motor indoor flyer gyro.

No problem Greg, any scaled up plans for outdoor flying? I know up there it gets cold most of the year but down here it's 90% of the time outdoor flying!
