Been meaning to post a recommendation for the
non-obviously named Maryland Silver Co. as a
great source for detailed plan sets covering
periods in U.S. history from colonial to current.
(Most from the National Archives. They also have
plans for things like gun carriages - both land and
sea - monitor turret details, etc., and a separate
section for submarines.)

I bought a set of plans for the U.S.S. Olympia a
couple of months ago and they are great. About
half were in 1/4"-1' scale and included deck layout
and hull cross sections. Since this is the scale I
plan to build in, life was made much easier. (The
rest of the drawings are in 1/8"-1' which is trivial
to convert.) Cost was very reasonable considering
I ended up with something like 50' of drawings.
