The tail action on my 50 Rappy seems lazy, there is no positive stop in
either direction, what do I increase to make the tail positive (CSM420,
8700G)

Regards

By "lazy", do you refer to the piro rate at full stick? If so, increase the
rudder ATV on your tranny. This will not affect the servo throw (the giro
takes care of that) but tells the giro to piro faster.

Cheers.

What tail blades do you run? Have you optimised the giro gain?

I had a similar problem with the stock plakky blades. I now run NHP carbon
jobbies and have not had the tail blow out since.

You could try increasing your Gyro gain (ATV) till it just starts to
wag, then back it off a little to stop the wag.
