Maybe i'm nuts but I think it could work.....couldn't it?

I built this plane some time back for a GWS EDF and flew it some. I was not happy with the performance..... not enough speed. So I hung it up in my computer room with a few other failed designs.

It occured to me that if I were to install a strong pusher motor it would be a different story. The design lends itself by virtue of its very strong construction to withstand a lot of abuse. Besides, it only takes 1 hour to build out the airframe if I total it.

I'm thinking full contact indoor combat..... with the Foxbat pictured below and maybe a TomCat........the last plane in the air wins...even if it crashes and burns 5 seconds later. ;)

Where ever two or more are gathered together
let there be WAR!

It can be done and it has been done. I have not tried either indoor flying or combat but I have seen an indoor combat competition.

There were four planes in the air simultaneously. Everybody had streamers (about 5 meters?) and you got points for cuts. If you crash you are out.
