I am new to this and am wondering how to get parts for older cars and trucks (such as tamiya porsche959 kit number 5859. wild willy 1 Big foot clod buster) and others.
I work with a boys club and they are hard on the rcs and in need of repair.
I don't have money to buy new so would like to repair them.
any suggestions would help.

Those old classics are getting harder and more expensive to repair. Best to retire them, and get a fleet of old losi and or associated buggies for hard use. Parts for old losi and ae buggies are easier and cheaper to find. Check ebay to find parts for any old cars, including your classics.

The old Tamiya cars are now considered collector's items and the parts are relatively scarce and expensive. Check Ebay.

Yup, Tamiya club(if you like to haggle and trade), or ebay, if you just wanna buy the parts. Tons of great info at the club. Anybody have spare arms for a tomy intruder?
