GPL China - Huan Airship

Has anyone tried one of these? I'm thinking of getting one, I don't know what is included - gondola, motors, bag and props I would assume? Where do you get helium for these? Sorry if that's a dumb question but 'til now I have only done heavier than air ships.

Has seen those on Ebay as well, and pictures of the item seem to indicate that the missing third prop, *as is standard for tri fans for up and down control* has been given the new job of vectoring the propellers on the gondola.. Just a guess. I'm still researching that one. *the kit SHOULD have everything except batteries..* *1 envelope/blimp bag, a fully built gondola ready to be taped on blimp, transmitter, and fabricated foam fins* battery requirements might be the same.. *one 3 volt photo cell, either lithium or alkaline, and a 9 volt for the transmitter..

Actually the Tri-Turbofan Blimp model can lift about 90 grams at altitude 1500
feet. Enough to carry our PTV wireless videocam and a heavy 9V battery.

This is old technology...... we should update our 15 gram PTV - but hey, it
still works and people like it because it xmits to any TV set.

This sounds good to me, I think I will eventually get a blimp from Plantraco.

Spinbotz, what are all the asterisks in the text in your post? Special characters that my browser doesn't support?

no, the * is just indicating side notes, sorry. an example: I can charge my airship for about a minute and it'll get about five minutes of flying *depending on how steadily I use the motors* er, one other thing, you're replying to a post that's not even on this thread. *not sure how that happened, but *shrugs*

I intend to get this toy airship for some indoor flying. anyone knows what is the effective range of control?

I also intend to build my own gondola, but really have no idea how to make the motors on either side go in opposite directions for turning. I have my own Tx, Rx and servos(been flying planes).

can someone please advice me?

thanks
