I don't think you can. I could be wrong, but isn't that prommised for an upcoming patch?

A lot of sceneries are available for download from www.rcsim.de but none of them are good enough in my opinion. They don't have the geometry behind the objects in the scenes except the ground, and perspective is incorrect, causing the heli to look very big or very small when it's hovering next to for example a human or car.

Wow. I guess some people just figured out how to replace the bmps. Cool.
To use this scenery with Reflex XTR simulator:
(1) Go to C:\Program Files\REFLEX\Umwelt\Wlp
(2) Make a new subdirectory called "Bedmond"
(3) Unzip all these files into that path.
(4) Load S1.jpg into "Paint" or any good graphics editor.
(5) Select "SAVE AS" and save it as S1.BMP
(6) Load Reflex, press F3, and select "Bedmond"
That's all!
This is the helicopter flying field for Watford Wayfarers MFC. It's near Watford, not far from London.
About 40 pictures were taken on Friday 19th November 2004, using a Nikon D100 camera with 18mm lens wide angle. The camera was on a simple tripod and was sideways up - in portrait mode.
The photographs were stitched together using PTGui and two plugs-in: "enblend", and "autopano".
I cannot (yet) crack the .wlp file .. So if anyone else has any clues, please email me!
Thanks.

If you have updated Reflex XTR to 5.01 you don't have to change the file format from JPG to BMP, Reflex will do it for you when it loads the scenery. :)

It's easy to use your own Panorama in XTR but there are two problems. One is that you need to get it to the right aspect ratio. Just making a files that's 8000(ish)x3000(ish) (can't remember the exact numbers) is not all there is to it. There's a HUGE thread on runryder.com about this where they worked out the correct kind of view that's needed. Then you just copy an existing scenery and replace the s1.bmp. However the second problem is that sceneries also have a mysterious .WLP file and only Reflex know the format of it. This is effectively a 3D "space" model that matches the picture and says, for example, where the ground goes up and down or where the ditches/hedges are. At present no one but Reflex have a way to make these so all yuou can do is share the .WLP from one of the five (or six with V5.01) existing sceneries and hope the layout that you've photographed sort of matches the terrain of one of those.
Reflex have made comments about the possibility of an RSK (Reflex Scenery Konstruktor) program appearing to complement the RMK (reflex Model Konstruktor) that already ships with XTR but this is only a promise for the future and not something that's available now.
